Sweet And Sour Shrimp

Sweet and sour shrimp is a tasty dish that is quick to make. Sweetness of honey, sourness of lemon juice, and spiciness of jalapeno, combine for a palate treat.

Ingredients

12 shrimps

If available:

1 teaspoon honey

1/2 lemon

4 cloves garlic

1 jalapeno

1 teaspoon oil

Steps

  1. Deshell shrimps. Place in bowl.

  2. Mince garlic. Add to bowl.

  3. Split jalapeno into halves. Remove membrane from one half.. Minch and add to bowl.

  4. Add honey to bowl.

  5. Mix ingredients in bowl well.

  6. Put oil into pan under high heat.

  7. When pan is well-heated, pour ingredients from bowl. Stir constantly for uniform cooking.

  8. When shrimps is red throughout indicating they are cooked, turn off heat and squeeze juice from lemon into pan.

  9. Roughly stir and serve immediately.

Notes

  1. The heat of peppers such as japaleno comes from the white membrane to which the seeds are attached. Spiciness of the dish can be controlled by removing more or less internal membrane.
