Stir-fried Beef With Green Onion

Stir-fried beef with green onion is pleasant with allium aroma and rich in tender beef flavor. And it only takes twenty minutes to make.

Ingredients

1/2 pound beef tenderloin

1 bunch spring onion

1 onion

2 teaspoons soy sauce

If available:

1/2 teaspoon sugar

Steps

  1. Caramelize onion.

    • Cut onion into thin strips, less than 1/2 centimeter.

    • Cook in pan under medium to medium-high heat.

  2. Prepare other ingredients.

    • Clean scallion. Cut scallion into 3-cm or 1-inch pieces. Set aside.

    • Cut beef tenderloin into slices as thin as your knife and skill allows. Mix in soy sauce and sugar to somewhat marinate.

  3. Stir fry.

    • Turn heat up to high.

    • Add scallion and stir continuously for one minute.

    • Add beef tenderloin and stir until uniformly mixed.

    • Turn off heat.

    • Keep stirring, immerse any partially cooked beef tenderloin into the warmth of its fellow ingredients.

  4. Serve immediately.
