Pot roast is the slow-cooking of tough cuts of beef until they are tender. This recipe takes little active time but calls for patience.
Ingredients
3 pounds chuck roast
2 onions
4 stems carrot
2 teaspoons salt

Dutch oven
Steps
Place Dutch oven on stove under medium-high heat.
Trim excess fat on chuck roast.
Rub salt evenly onto surface of chuck roast.
Dice onions into chunks. Place into Dutch oven and cover.
Dice carrot into chunks. Add to Dutch oven.
Roughly stir contents in Dutch oven.
Place chuck roast on top of onions and carrot in Dutch oven.
Cover, reduce to low heat, and cook for ten hours.
Shred or cut into chunks and enjoy.
