Pork chop with sauteed onion is tasty in its simplicity. The sweetness of onion combines well with savory pork chop. Black pepper gives the dish an enhancing kick.
Ingredients
2 pieces pork chop
1 onion
1 teaspoon salt
If available:
1/3 teaspoon black pepper
Steps
Use a pan that has a cover. Place on stove under medium-high heat.
Cut onion into 1-cm or 1/2-inch pieces. Add to pan.
Rub all pork chop surface with salt. Set aside.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir onion. Cover pan and cook for fifteen minutes.
After fifteen minutes, stir onion and add pork chop on top. Cover and cook for another fifteen minutes.
After fifteen minutes, flip pork chop and stir onion. Cover and cook for fifteen more minutes.
If desired, sprinkle black pepper before serving.
