Beef ribs braised in tomato broth is a nutritious, delicious dish that takes very little active time. Natural flavors from the ingredients make for a wholesome, satisfying meal.
Ingredients
4 pounds beef ribs
2 1/2 pounds tomato
If available:
1 pound pearl onion
1 pound cremini mushroom
Steps
Braise beef ribs.
Cut tomato into 1-cm or 1/3-inch slices.
Drop tomato into a large pot. Place pot onto stove under medium-high heat.
Add beef ribs to pot and stir. Immerse beef ribs into tomato broth as much as possible.
Reduce to low heat when pot starts to boil. Cover and braise for at least two and a half hours.
An hour before serving.
Clean cremini mushroom. Add to pot and stir.
Clean pearl onion. Add to pot and stir.
Cover pot and braise for one more hour.
Serve the broth too.
